The Gilbert Thompson Memorial Fund (GTMF) supports people, who due to their financial situation, would otherwise be unable to travel to Lourdes with the Raphael Pilgrimage.
Gilbert Thompson was the first Director of the Raphael Pilgrimage and the fund was set up in his memory with a generous donation and additional subsequent bequests that have been made.
Applications are considered in strict confidence by the Fund’s administrators. Grants are open to all, whether coming as sick pilgrims or helpers. They will not normally exceed £200.

Your application will be acknowledged either by e-mail or post and you will be informed of the administrators’ decision.
Grants are normally paid direct to Tangney Tours, the tour operator, and pilgrims pay the balance by the date notified by Tangney.
