Raphael Pilgrimage to Lourdes is made up of small groups from all around the UK. Our pilgrims currently join either from Stansted or Birmingham airport or travel overland as a group or independently and join the pilgrimage in Lourdes. With over 70 years of experience, the Raphael Pilgrimage is an inclusive welcoming Pilgrimage for anyone wanting to travel to Lourdes.
We are able to provide assistance to those pilgrims who might need support from our nursing team and general helpers, all coordinated by our operations team. Spiritual direction from our own pilgrimage priest and our family atmosphere create the unique and special experience of Raphael Pilgrimage.
Our Pilgrimage travels in late August each year and is made up of small groups from all around the UK. Our pilgrims currently join either from Stansted or Birmingham airport or travel overland as a group or independently and join the pilgrimage in Lourdes.
Our Pilgrimage is typically Friday to Friday giving us plenty of time of time in Lourdes. We travel using chartered flights travelling out with the Catholic Association. Bookings are arranged through Tangney Tours. We stay at the Padoue Hotel where we always receive a warm friendly welcome. The hotel is situated conveniently for access to the Domain and the various popular Lourdes sights and facilities.

Our Pilgrimage Programme provides a framework for our time in Lourdes, with a sample outline shown here.
Throughout the week, there is a balance of prayer and spiritual reflection, daily Mass with our own priest, and opportunities to socialise and enjoy time together. We also make space for pilgrims to have some free time of their own, allowing everyone the opportunity to explore Lourdes, reflect, pray or simply enjoy the experience in their own way. |
